What to do after an accident


The next steps after an accident can be confusing and frustrating, so let our team help. After ensuring all parties are safe and out of danger, you can begin to think about your vehicle’s damage. We suggest using your phone to take photos of the accident site and area as they could be useful in processing your insurance claim. 

Obtaining information


If you can, find out the driver’s name, vehicle registration, make and model and the insurance company the other driver is with. If anyone witnessed what happened, you may also ask for their contact details to collaborate your recollection for your insurance claim. 

Contacting your insurance company


After you’ve contacted your insurance company for a claim, they may ask you which repairer you wish to use. If they suggest a repairer you don’t wish to use, you are in your right to state a repairer more aligned with your needs. Make note of your claim number for your repairer. 

Vehicle assessments and repairs


Bring your vehicle for an assessment with us from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday or on Saturday by appointment. We note you and your vehicle’s details and take photos of the damage done. Your assessment information is sent to your insurance company and an assessor is then assigned to your claim. Once approved, we proceed to order any parts required. These parts are checked on arrival and we then contact you to book your vehicle in for repair. We are happy to provide a courtesy car for you while your vehicle is being repaired and will ask if you require one at the time of your assessment (conditions apply). After the repair, our professionals complete a 10-point checklist to ensure that your vehicle meets our high standards and is washed and ready for collection. If an excess applies, we provide you with an invoice payable upon vehicle collection.
